Esa Meltaus' 60th anniversary exhibition Life Is a Strange Place presents Meltaus's works from the 2010s.

Esa Meltaus (b. 1961) is a visual artist from Rovaniemi, and a teacher of Visual Arts in the Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Lapland. As a visual artist, Meltaus is a watercolourist, and watercolours are his preferred means of expression. Installations and works of environmental art are also part of his artistic repertoire. In recent years, various visual figures, including real and imagined landscapes, have been his subjects for large-scale watercolour paintings.
