Lapland Chamber Orchestra is the northernmost professional chamber orchestra in the European Union with 18 full time musicians. The orchestra has excellent facilities and the musicians each have their own rehearsal room
We currently have a vacancy for:
Principal II violin
Post commencing 2 January 2020.
Salary is in accordance with the collective agreement on wages and terms of employment.
1. W.A Mozart: Violin Concerto No 3 in G Major KV 216, No 4 in D Major KV 218 or No 5 in A Major KV 219, I and II movements, including cadenzas
2. One solo violin piece of your own choice, not to exceed 10 mins. It can also be a movement from a larger work.
3. Orchestra and chamber music excerpts that will be made available via email after the closing date for applications.
