Korundi House of Culture is located in the centre of Rovaniemi, Lapland Finland. Korundi is easy to find as it is situated in the massive former post bus depot, which was built of red brick in 1933. This iconic building is one of the few historical buildings that had survived the Second World War in Rovaniemi.
It takes about 7 to 12 minutes by walk from the very centre of Rovaniemi (Lordi Square) to Korundi. Korundi is located right next to the Revontuli Shopping Centre and about 200 m north of Rovaniemi bus station.
Coming from south to north - When approaching from the south, take the first ramp on the right leading to the city centre and cross over Route 4. Korundi is located on the left hand side of the highway on Lapinkävijäntie 4.
Coming from north to south – When approaching Rovaniemi, follow the turn off sign to ‘Korundi, Arktikum, and Marttiini’ and follow the brown tourist signage marked ‘Korundi’ all the way to Korundi House of Culture. Parking areas are available between Revontuli Shopping Centre and Korundi, as well as at the end facing the bus station.
Rovaniemi is easily accessible by plane, train, or bus. Rovaniemi airport is approximately 9 km away from city centre, and the drive from the airport to Korundi House of Culture takes about 10-15 minutes.
